'I want to be fabulous, rich and young, but how?'
By Ernie O. Cecilia
Contributor

I AM young, indebted, and broke. I had a big raise in 2008, but it didn’t show in my bank balance. My closet is a designer showcase, but I don’t know if I can pay the bills when the installments fall due. Every time I use my credit card, I hold my breath, hoping that it won’t be denied.

In 2009, I want to be someone more fabulous, rich, and young. Can you give me tips on what to change in my spending ways? How can I start to save when I have large credit card payments? Please help me make a great New Year resolution.
