Terms and Conditions

JobMarket Online (www.jobmarketonline.com) and the services provided therein are only available to users seeking employment ("Job Seekers") and advertisers seeking employees ("Employers.") By accessing and / or using the JobMarket Online website, you approve, accept, and adhere to the following terms and conditions as outlined below. Should you fail to comply, your access to JobMarket Online and its services will be terminated.

Job Seekers
  1. Job Seekers agree that they will only use JobMarket Online for lawful purposes and to seek employment.
  2. Job Seekers shall not post any non-resume information and / or incomplete, false, or inaccurate resume information which is not their own accurate resume.
  3. Job Seekers shall not respond to any employment opportunity for any reason other than to apply for the job advertised and Employers shall not respond to any Job Seeker other than in connection with their application for a job. Communications soliciting business for any other reason is prohibited.
  4. Job Seekers may post their resume in JobMarket Online and send such resume to an Employer in reply to any job advertisement. Unless the Job Seeker chooses to delete such resume, it will be stored in JobMarket Online's Database at the Job Seeker's own risk.
  5. Job Seekers acknowledge and agree to JobMarket Online’s practice of charging Employers a fee for access to the Database and to the Job Seeker's resumes and details. The Job Seeker also recognizes that he has no claims to any such fees received by JobMarket Online.
  6. JobMarket Online will not release the Job Seeker's personal data to any potential employer without his permission but may release a portion of the Job Seeker's resume (without his name and address) to third parties through the use of JobMarket Online’s search engine or any other means.
  7. Job Seekers agree that JobMarket Online and its associated companies may use the Job Seeker's personal data for marketing purposes. Further JobMarket Online will not be responsible or held liable in any way if any Employer, whether in Philippines or elsewhere, should use the Job Seeker's personal data for any other use other than for obtaining potential employees.
  8. Job Seekers accept that personal data given to Employers or other users are given entirely at their own risk.
Employers / Advertisers
  1. Employers / Advertisers will be entitled to use JobMarket Online to advertise job openings and / or create their own web page on JobMarket Online’s web site for a predetermined period following agreement of the predetermined service.
  2. Employers will be entitled to access JobMarket Online’s Job Seekers’ Resume Database but agree that all information obtained will only be used for the purpose of obtaining potential employees.
  3. Employers will be solely responsible for the contents and materials contained in their advertisement and / or web page.
All Users
  1. All users shall not print, download, duplicate or otherwise copy or use any personally identifiable information about other users. All unsolicited communications of any type to users is strictly prohibited.
  2. All users shall not delete or revise any material posted by any other person or entity.
  3. All users are prohibited from violating or attempting to violate the security of JobMarket Online (or any other sites accessed through JobMarket Online) including, without limitation, accessing data not intended for them or logging into a server or account which they are not authorized to access, attempting to probe, scan or test the vulnerability of a system or network or attempting to breach security or authentication measures without proper authorization, attempting to interfere with service to any user, host or network or sending unsolicited e-mail, including promotions and/or advertising of products or services. Violations of system or network security may result in civil or criminal liability.
  4. All materials contained in this site (including, but not limited to, directories, guides, news articles, captions, bylines, opinions, reviews, text, photographs, images, illustrations, trademarks, service marks, program codes and the like) are the copyrighted property of Philippine Daily Inquirer – Job Market or third-party content provider with whom JobMarket Online has a syndication agreement.
  5. JobMarket Online takes no responsibility whatsoever for any material input by any user or others and not posted by JobMarket Online. JobMarket Online is not responsible for the content of any other web sites linked to this site; links are provided as internet navigation tools only.
  6. All users acknowledge and agree that they are solely responsible for the form, content and accuracy of any resume, advertisement, web page or material contained therein placed by them.
  7. JobMarket Online will not be responsible in any way for any decision, for whatever reason, made by any party seeking or posting jobs on the Company's web sites.
  8. All users are responsible for their own communications and are responsible for the consequences of their posting. JobMarket Online does not represent or guarantee the truthfulness, accuracy, or reliability of any of the communications posted by other users or endorse any opinions expressed by users. Any reliance by users on material posted by other users will be at their own risk.
  9. JobMarket Online may modify, suspend, discontinue or restrict the use of any portion of this site at any time and without notice or liability.
  10. Under no circumstances, including, but not limited to, negligence, shall JobMarket Online be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages that result from the use of, or the inability to use of this site.
  11. This agreement supersedes all previous and contemporaneous agreements, proposals and communications, written and/or oral.
  12. This agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of the Philippines.
